I think I miss that the most about Niceville. Its still beautiful, and a place you would want to retire and raise kids at. I'm amazed at how much of the area has grown. That mall in destin just across the bridge and is HUGE! Traffic still sucks on the Island, but more or less, I think it still has one up on just about every place I've visted since high school.
Thats just my 2 cents _________________ One love to the whole Nicevillian c/o 94!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love the Puget Sound, but even all the green and mountians can't replace the sunset on the beaches near Niceville. Or the heat that bakes into your bones. Junior has it right - small town to raise your family and hot hot sun! |

Northern NY is a far cry from FL!!! Nothing like negative twenties and teens making you wish for the humidity and hot sunshine of HOME!!! We have two major restaurants locally- not counting fastfood- that might be good for the waistline and wallet- but makes me miss FL- or just plain civilization quite a bit!!! I miss my friends, family & former co-workers as well!!! THREE more years in NY! _________________ Norma (Martell) Simpkins |
